Student Pavilion Design Selected for International Exhibition
The project was initiated in ARCH 551: Structural Analysis under the faculty supervision of Professor Marci Uihlein. The competition was held by Working Group 21: Advanced Materials and Manufacturing. Projects were evaluated for structural innovation, materiality, production methods, constructibility, transportability, expression, and originality.
The jury members were Sigrid Adriaenssens, Princeton University (chair); Mark Burry, RMIT University; Kai-Uwe Bletzinger, Technical University of Munich; Irmgard Lochner, Biberach University of Applied Sciences; and Chris Williams, Bath University.
