Aaron Brakke Awarded First Place at Biennial of Public Space
Park Zig Zag was designed and built with the community and has sparked important changes for a neighborhood located in the outskirts of Bogota. Brakke has been working with communities to aid in the transformation of the built environment through processes of co-creation. This summer, Illinois School of Architecture students Stephen Ferroni and Felipe Flores traveled to Colombia with Brakke to research the impact of several collective architectural projects.
