Vladimir Radutny Earns Dubin Family Young Architect Award
This juried award was established in 1983 to recognize excellence in ability and exceptional contributions by Chicago-area architects between the ages of 25 and 39. Jurors were “impressed with Radutny’s scope of work that has garnered multiple awards from AIA Chicago and beyond.”
Radutny’s residential projects have been recognized in AIA Chicago’s Design Excellence and Small Projects award programs (2013-16), as well as with the Builder’s Choice Custom Home Design award (2016). His studio’s approach is ideas driven, with a dedication to artistic thinking and experimentation, testing designs that result in work that moves beyond just an aesthetic response. He has taught at the Illinois Institute of Technology and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and is recognized for challenging the conventional interpretations of space, function, and material use. He will give a lecture/presentation as part of the Fresh Futures series.
