The NOMAS chapter affiliated with the Illinois School of Architecture was recognized as 2016 NOMAS Chapter of the Year at the National Association of Minority Architects conference in Los Angeles, October 13-16.

Policies for Action (P4A) today announced $248,250 in grant funding for a research project on which Associate Professor Lynne Dearborn will serve as co-principal investigator, along with the principal investigator, Sherry Ahrentzen, PhD, professor at the University of Florida Shimberg Center for Housing Studies.

Three of the four prizes in the 2016 Chicago Award in Architecture student competition were won by students of the Illinois School of Architecture.

A graduate student design team led by Associate Professor Lynne M. Dearborn played a pivotal role in developing the City of Peoria’s entry in the Play Everywhere Challenge, a national design competition hosted by KABOOM!
