Advisors are here to support you throughout your academic journey.
You can expect them to:
- Keep appointments with you, or reach out ASAP if rescheduling or cancellation is needed
- Discuss your degree process with you
- Provide you with information and helpful resources
- Maintain honesty and confidentiality
- Listen without prejudice, offer suggestions, and discuss strategies

- Prepare for advising appointments by researching your concerns and writing down questions
- Explore options for your class schedule before meeting with your advisor
- Read all emails and newsletters thoroughly to ensure you have the latest information
- Keep track of important dates and deadlines
