About Whitney Levine-Woods
Whitney is the Coordinator of Student Services and Advising for graduate education at the School of Architecture. She has over a decade of higher education experience and has worked specifically in graduate education since 2017. Their roles have been diverse, covering several areas of higher education including recruitment, international admissions, advising, student services programming, and policy administration. Whitney also has experience working at a private architecture/engineering firm doing project management, business development, and marketing.
Whitney earned an Associate of Science degree from Mott Community College, a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology and Psychology from Western Michigan University, and a Master of Science degree in Adult, Continuing, and Higher Education Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Her professional interests include creating adult learning environments that are equitable and making educational systems easier to navigate. Their research areas include building inclusive and equitable communities of practice and developing online learning environments that utilize universal design techniques to promote inclusive education for diverse learners.
