About Magali Veronelli
Biography
Magali Veronelli was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, but was raised, educated, and lived in many different countries (Argentina, France, Chile, Mexico, the United States, and Spain). This international experience gave her a deep personal and professional understanding of the challenges and benefits of international education. She has university degrees in Political Science and Public Administration (Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico, 1984), and a Master of Public Health (Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1986). She also took continuing education courses focused on education and higher education administration in the United States, France, England, and Spain.
Veronelli has been involved in teaching from the beginning of her career. She joined the Study Abroad Program in Versailles in 2007 and has been the Program Coordinator of the of the Illinois Architecture Study Abroad Program at Barcelona-El Vallès (IASAP-BV) since its creation in 2014. She is also a certified instructor of Koru Mindfulness and is currently working on her certification for the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction protocol (MBSR). She regularly organizes mindfulness courses and activities for Illinois students enrolled in the IASAP-BV as well as for students of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
