Enck was awarded the Fulbright-Nehru Academic and Professional Excellence Award in Teaching/Research to work for five months in Delhi, India. His project, “Art, Design, and Craft: Utilitarian Metalwork in India,” will focus on the metalworking skills associated with traditional vessel making, specifically the techniques associated with spinning and soldering milk cans, hand texturing tiffin lunch boxes, and hollow forming brass water pots. He will combine the roles of artist and teacher at the Sushant School of Design at Ansal University, Gurgaon, India.
