Plym Distinguished Professorship
The Plym Distinguished Professorship brings nationally and internationally recognized architects to the school for a semester or academic year.

Fall 2024 César Pelli Distinguished Lecturer Elisa Silva
César Pelli Distinguished Lecture Series
The César Pelli Distinguished Lecture Series brings internationally recognized architects to serve as visiting lecturers each semester. As Pelli Lecturers, they engage in multi-day co-teaching efforts in graduate studios, as well as in discussion sessions with faculty and students.

Michael J. Theiss Memorial Lecturer Series
The annual Theiss lecture is supported by the Michael J. Theiss Memorial Fund. This fund was created to honor Mr. Theiss and to support in his memory his combined interests of engineering and architecture. Mr. Theiss received his education here at the school of architecture earning a Bachelor of Architecture in 1970, and a Master of Science in Architectural Engineering in 1971. His career as an engineer spanned over two decades, many of which he spent in New York. His project work included design of tall and distinctive buildings as well as restorations and renovations.

Gertrude Lempp Kerbis Endowed Chair
The Gertrude Lempp Kerbis Endowed Chair seeks an eminent national or international leader to advance discovery and education at the intersection of architectural structures, materials science, and experimental engineering.
