Josep Maria de Llobet Publishes “Blank”
Josep Maria de Llobet gave a presentation about Blank on February 19 at the Auditorium of the Biblioteca Agusti Centelles in Barcelona. Blank contains photographic reportage that exposes the crude reality of the real estate bubble and its crisis, which peaked in 2013. The book received immediate recognition and was compared to Picasso’s masterpiece Guernica. Anticipating the importance of this unusual book of photographs, the University of Illinois Library acquired a copy of Blank as soon as it was published in fall 2019.
