Michael J. Theiss Memorial Lecturers

The annual Theiss lecture is supported by the Michael J. Theiss Memorial Fund.  This fund was created to honor Mr. Theiss and to support in his memory his combined interests of engineering and architecture.  Mr. Theiss received his education here at the school of architecture earning a Bachelor of Architecture in 1970, and a Master of Science in Architectural Engineering in 1971.  His career as an engineer spanned over two decades, many of which he spent in New York. His project work included design of tall and distinctive buildings as well as restorations and renovations.
