Ralph Johnson Receives Illinois Medal
Johnson received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Illinois and his Master of Architecture from Harvard University. He has practiced with Perkins&Will since 1976 and has received numerous national and regional awards throughout his tenure. His designs have been built all over the world, and include 100 North Riverside Plaza, Jones Prep, the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, and Contemporaine in Chicago, as well as our own Temple Buell Hall at the University of Illinois.
The Illinois Medal has been awarded to distinguished alumni of the School since 1981.
