Clinical Associate Professor Randy Deutsch has been invited by President Robert C. Robbins M.D. and Dean Nancy Pollock-Ellwand PhD of the University of Arizona (UA) to serve as an inaugural member of University of Arizona College of Architecture, Planning, and Landscape Architecture (CAPLA) Futures Council. Deutsch was nominated and selected to help accelerate the pace at which critical challenges are identified and addressed in higher education and in the built environment as part of UA’s Building a Changing World initiative.
CAPLA created the Futures Council as “a think-tank of forward-thinking, critical-minded professionals to engage in transformational conversations regarding the future of the built environment. This select group of experts and influencers will be known as the CAPLA Futures Council.” More about the University of Arizona’s Building a Changing World initiative (pp. 49-51) https://www.di-publications.com/di-quarterly/q4/
