As part of his ongoing research on Le Corbusier’s work in the Americas, Alejandro Lapunzina recently published an essay entitled “Fructíferos Desencuentros: notas sobre la obra Sudamericana de Le Corbusier” (“Fructiferous Mismatches: notes on Le Corbusier’s South American work.”)

The text was published in book edited by Chilean scholar Maximiano Atria.  Entitled “Le Corbusier y el sur de América” and published by Editorial Universitaria (Santiago de Chile, 2018), this book consists of a compilation of articles and essays written by ‘Corbusian’ scholars such as Antoine Picon, Carlos Eduardo Dias Comas, Fernando Daza, Humberto Eliash and others.  The book is profusely illustrated with sections comprised of images from an exhibition that, on the same subject, took place in Santiago de Chile in late-2016 and early-2017.
