Bio: Dan Hoffman was educated at the Cooper Union under John Hejduk and Raimund Abraham. A founding principal of Studio Ma in Phoenix Arizona, he was active in the firm from 2003-2017 where his work included planning, urban design and architectural design. Studio Ma has won numerous awards including AIA Arizona Firm of the Year and has was named in the 2014 Architectural Record Design Vanguard. Dan has taught and lectured widely, serving as director of the Department of Architecture at Cranbrook Academy of Art and Campus Architect for Cranbrook Educational Community. He is currently Professor of Practice at the College of Planning, Landscape and Architecture at the University of Arizona.
