Meghna Majethiya, a graduate student in the Illinois School of Architecture, has been awarded the seventh annual Sean F. Mellon Memorial Scholarship by the Society of American Registered Architects (SARA) New York Council. This year, applications were received from all over the world. Meghna was recently honored with the award at SARA’s annual Scholarship Dinner on November 7, 2017, at the Yale Club in New York City.

Meghna is currently a second-year M.Arch student and will be graduating in May 2018. She earned her undergraduate architecture degree at Dr. B.N. College of Architecture, Pune, India. Earlier this year, along with her teammate Wei Lin, Meghna also won Third Place in the 2017 ACSA Steel Design Competition for their ARCH 573 Design Studio project completed during the Spring 2017 semester.
