Prof. Deutsch will be speaking for the second time at this industry event on Merging and Emerging AEC Futures, focused on how the AEC and technology industry will develop through projected advancements in coming decades

Prof. Deutsch is currently writing Superusers: An Architect’s Guide to Design Technology with publisher Taylor & Francis, focused on the intersection of buildings and technology, and how design technology is changing both architectural practice and the role of the architect. The book is due out Summer 2019.

Assistant Professor Yun Kyu Yi and Associate Professor Scott Murray announce a new lab called the Responsive Architecture Lab (RAL). The lab is focused on contributing to the development of high-performance architecture through its responsive engagement with climatic factors, energy criteria, human experience, systems innovation, and design computation. As our lab becomes more established, we hope more faculty and students will join our team to collaborate together on future projects.
