The Olympic Tribute, first dedicated in 1991 and designed by Professor Jeffery Poss, FAIA, was recognized in a 25th Anniversary ceremony at Dodd's Park on Saturday October 1, 2016. The event included the induction of five new athletes into the Monument.
For the event, the Tribute was re-landscaped with native species of Prairie Dropseed, Butterfly Weed, and Lady’s Mantle. It also has a new mow strip and other improvements.
The Illinois School of Architecture’s Master of Architecture degree program is among DesignIntelligence Quarterly’s “Top 25 Programs 2016-17 According to Hiring Professionals.” The ranking of NAAB-accredited degree programs appears in DI’s Q3 2016 issue, just released. DI compiles the rankings after a wide-ranging survey of “professional practitioners who hire and supervise” graduates of architecture programs.
