The Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA) has just launched The Journal of Technology | Architecture + Design (TAD), the first new journal published by the association in over 70 years. Assistant Professor Marci Smith Uihlein was instrumental in the journal’s founding, and now serves on its inaugural editorial board. According to ACSA, “As part of our commitment to advancing architectural pedagogy, TAD will be a forum for rigorous primary research, interviews, articles, and reviews, that explore technology in relationship to architecture and design.” The journal, published by Taylor & Francis, will be delivered in biannual print issues to ACSA members. For more information on TAD, see the journal’s website. Founded in 1912, ACSA has over 200 member schools, through which over 5,000 architecture faculty are represented.
