Bringing with him a lifetime of successful professional practice, Professor Hall is an expert on the profession of architecture as a whole. Having held notable positions like Vice President & Managing Principal at Kirkegaard Associates in Chicago for 21 years, he has worked on projects of all sizes ranging to the very large and complex. That experience, in conjunction with leadership positions such as seven years on the AIA National Board of Directors and President of the AIA Illinois, makes him a well-connected member of the architecture community.
From 2005 – 2010 Professor Hall and his wife personally restored the B. Harley Bradley House and Stable (National Historic Register). The house, designed in 1900 and located on the banks of the Kankakee River in Kankakee, IL, is considered the first design of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Prairie Period. The house and stable are now open to the public.
